Plato Group's President Receives Leadership Award

St. John's, NL, February 11, 2004 - The technology industry in Newfoundland and Labrador honoured three of its members during the 2004 Nati Achievement Awards Gala.

As part of the third annual Nati FlatOut Business Technology Forum 2004, held November 1 and 2 at the Delta Hotel, three Newfoundland and Labrador technology companies received awards for innovation, leadership and overall excellence.

"With these awards, we recognize innovation, celebrate excellence and pay tribute to our industry," said Derek Sullivan, Chair of the Nati Board of Directors. "The Nati Achievement Awards recognize member companies who are seizing opportunities, changing perspectives and building success."

The Nati Achievement Awards showcase the vision, enterprise, agility and intelligence of the technology industry in this province, Sullivan said. "This industry is gaining ever-increasing recognition for world competitiveness and indeed world-leading innovation, leadership and overall excellence. These companies and leaders are effectively accelerating the business of technology in Newfoundland and Labrador."

Nati Leadership Award
This award is presented to the executive of a member company whose creative vision and business insight has been instrumental in the success of the company.

This year's winner was Mr. Kevin Fleming, President of Plato Group Inc. "Kevin Fleming is a seasoned business leader who understands time and resource management and knows how to prioritize activities to ensure the greatest return for the company," said Nati President Marvin Chaulk. "Kevin and his management team demonstrate many facets of leadership excellence and this is evident in the success of Plato Group today."
