Kevin Fleming elected to YMCA-YWCA Board of Directors
St. John’s, NL, February 8, 2010 – Plato Consulting Inc. is pleased to announce that its President & CEO, Kevin Fleming, has been elected to the YMCA-YWCA Northeast Avalon Board of Directors. As part of this undertaking, Kevin has made a three year commitment to the Board, which provides leadership in ensuring that the Association is proactive in its response to the needs of the community.
Kevin will also be responsible for helping govern the Association, as the charity works toward the achievement of its goals. “The Y is a great organization that is dedicated to helping children and families in the community,” stated Fleming. “I am fortunate to have been invited to take on a leadership role for such a worthy cause.”
Along with this recent development, the YMCA-YWCA has been chosen as Plato’s corporate charity of choice for 2010. In the coming weeks and months, Plato will be launching internal initiatives to raise awareness and funds for the Association. Additionally, management and staff plan to participate in YMCA-YWCA community events and activities throughout the year. “Plato is happy to name the YMCA-YWCA as our corporate charity this year, as it gives our management and staff an opportunity to give back to the community”, said Fleming.
