GNL Core Network Management
St. John's, NL, September 9, 2008 - Plato Consulting Inc, a leading consulting and professional services company is pleased to announce that they, along with the other members of the IT4 consortium, have signed an agreement to manage the core network infrastructure for the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador (GNL). This agreement, signed on April 1, 2008, represents a significant achievement for the company which recently added the Internetworking Practice to its service offerings. Plato secured this contract as a member of the IT4 consortium, one of three signatories of an IT/IM Services Agreement with GNL.

IT4 is a consulting consortium formed on April 1, 2007 to provide Information Technology (IT) and Information Management (IM) professional services to the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador (GNL). The consortium, including partners MTS Allstream Inc., Infotech Canada Inc. and Tamarack Geographic Technologies Ltd., was formed to enter into a three year multi-million dollar agreement with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to enhance and strengthen the long-term IT capacity of the provincial government.
